French Mantle Clock

19th century
Description

A small, french, ormulu 8 day clock of good quality with female figure writing on a tablet inscribed "histoire", white porcelain dial, roman numerals, striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the movement stamped Vincenti on the backplate. Outside countwheel strike, C.1870, size approx. 25 x 32 x 12 cms. Nice little clock, fully serviced and guaranteed for 12 months.
