Black Slate and Marble Mantel Clock

Description

A French polished slate mantel clock, having a rectangular case, with grey marble side columns. It has a thick bevel edge glass, with a two piece enamel dial with a jewelled visible Brocot escapeemnt. The 8 day movemnet strikes the hours and halves on a bell and was made by S. Marti of Paris. (France, c. 1870)

Current Condition

The case in in good condition without any chips, the movement has been serviced in our workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.
