Impressive gilt ormulu & grey marble clock with the 8 day bell striking movement stamped & enscribed.......

"charpentier ft de bronze 160 a paris"

"fait pour thos agnew & sons"

"s marti & cie medaille de bronze"

The white enamal roman dial is also signed "thos agnew & sons"

Cast with fruit foliage, vitruvian and other frieze ornament, surmounted by an urn finial, over finely scrolled flanks, on a stepped plinth & button feet.

8 day bell striking movement - good working order

Viewing is always offered at mk45 4hs (just off the a6) or at one of the quality fairs we attend.

Selection of grandfather, grandmother, fusee & other quality clocks available
