Late 18th Cent Mahogany Longcase Clock

Description

An impressive late 18th/early 19th Cent mahogany longcase clock by Jo. Webster of Salop. It has a very handsome case that now needs a little tidying but it is all there.

The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and is complete with weights and pendulum (pendulum rod needs small repair). The attractive painted dial has a rural scene to the arch and attractive young ladies to the corners. It also has the most amazing set of hands I have ever seen.

The maximum dimensions are:

239cm(95") high excluding finial

60cm(23.5") wide

26cm(10") deep

Must be the cheepest 8 day clock on sellingantiques
