Edwardian Striking Carriage Clock

Description



A French Striking carriage clock. The serpentine shaped case has a step moulded edge, thick bevel edge glass and corner feet. The enamel dial has blue numerals and hand deorated floral garlands. The 8 day movement has its original lever platform and strikes the hours and halves on a gong. (France, c. 1905)

Current Condition

The case has been polished and lacquered so it will not tarnish, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.
