Impressive Early 19th Cent Mahogany Longcase Clock

Description

A very impressive mahogany longcase clock of superb quality. It is by James Brindley of Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire. He is listed as working there from 1835.

The case is in beautifuly figured mahogany and is in good un-restored condition. The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a particularly attractive dial.

The hood glass is cracaked but will be replaced before sale.

Tha maximum dimensions are:

245cm(96.5") high

82cm(24.5") wide

25cm(10") deep
