One Handed 30 Hour Longcase by Isaac Hadwen (I) born 1687 Burton Lancs, Prop apprentice to John Ogden of Askrigg Yorks. Died 1737 whilst visiting America. Quaker.

Brass Dial with Date Chapter & Inscription as follows

"Behold this Hand

Observe ye motions Tipp

Man's Precious Hours

Away like these do slip"

Very Sweet "Mushroom" Shaped Bell

Working Order

His 2 Sons and Grandson also became Clock Makers
