Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
It is nice coloured oak and has a stylish pagoda top to the hood. The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a very smart silvered and engraved dial. It has a subsidiary seconds dial and working date indicator. It also has the all important strike/silent selector.
The case is in good un-restored condition but has had some repairs to the back. The movement is in good working order and keeping good time.
