Gilt Ormolu French Mantel Clock

Description

An impressive French ormolu mantel clock, depicting a naval battle scene with an officer carrying a blunderbus pistol, a powder keg and loose cannon balls with other maritime items. The clock has a convex glass with an enamel dial signed by the reknowned Maker Le Roy, of Paris and London. It has an 8 day movemebnt that strikes the hours and halves on a bell, and is numbered, as is the pendulum.

Current Condition

The case retains its original gilding , in good condition, the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
