Black Slate Clock with Ormolu Mounts

Description

A fabulous quality late Victorian Black Slate and ormolu mounted Mantel Clock. The mounts are of exceptional quality. The Clock has a black enamel and gilt dial with an eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.

The back of the movement is stamped:-

J. MAYER

LIVERPOOL

Height - 18 inches

Width - 15 inches

Depth - 6 inches

The Clock movement has been cleaned and serviced.
