Worboys Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The convex 8" diameter dial has Roman numerals and is signed by the Maker "Farr & Son, Bristol". The 8 day twin fusee movement strikes the hours on a bell and has an engraved backplate with side straps and an original matching engraved pendulum with a fine regulation adjustment screw. (England, c. 1830)

Provenance
The Farrs were a clock making family in Bristol comprising of John, Thomas and Stephen, listed as working from 1790 to 1830
Current Condition
It appears that the case has been re-polished within the past 30 years, the dial has beeen professionally restored preserving the original background, the movement has recently been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
