Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The enamelled dial is in pristine condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It has black Roman numerals and very finely cut hands. It is surrounded by a brass bezel with thick, bevelled glass.
It has brass carrying handles to the sides and stands on brass bun feet.
The 8 day movement strikes on the half-hour and the hour and has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff.
