Small Oak Cottage Longcase Clock

19th century
Description

A nice all original cottage longcase clock dating from around 1800. It stands only 6' 4" tall so will fit in most rooms. The case is in oak and it has a 30hr posted movement with a nice clear silvered dial.

The clock is by John Stevens of Great Milton, Oxfordshire. He is listed as working there from 1784 to 1819

The case is in excellent condition and the movement is in good working order.

The maximum dimensions are:

193cm(76") high

51cm(20") wide

28cm(11") deep
