Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
Seldom do these clocks come to the market, being much rarer than the normal vienna style cases.
The enamelled dial has Arabic numerals and subsiduary seconds dial. It has no chips, cracks or crazing. It has the "GB" logo on the dial.
The 8 day movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff. It also has the Becker logo.
The clock strikes on the half-hours and the hours.
