French Painted and Ormolu Mounted Mantel Clock

Description

A Louis XV style waisted mantel clock. The green lacquered case is decorated with a classical scene and floral garlands. It has applied gilt decoration, a beaded and reeded bezel and a white convex enamel dial with dark blue numerals and ornate embossed and pierced hans. The 8 day pendulum movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong.

Current Condition

The case is in original condition, the enamel dial is perfect, the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
