George III Oak Longcase Clock with Moon Dial

Description

A handsome late 18th Cent oak longcase clock by William Coffe of Shipston (Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire). It has a lovely original oak case with inlaid ovals to the door and hood.

The 8 day movement is in good clean condition and has a very attractive painted dial with a moon phase indicator to the arch.

The case is in good un-restored condition and the movement has all functions working and is keeping good time.

The maximum dimensions are:

214cm (84“) high

51cm (20“) wide

28cm (11“) deep
