Clock Longcase Grandfather George IV Mahogany Samuel Sly Norwich C1780

Here we have a beautiful George IV Mahogany longcase clock c1780 made by Samuel Sly of 64 Gildengate, Norwich. Samuel Sly changed to Sly and son in 1800 when he moved to 1 White Lion Street. I have much more provenance and history which the buyer will recieve. As you will see the case has super colour and patina there are reeded columns to the hood with original turned wooden gilded finials and original glass. The original dial has second hand and date aperture with gilded decoration. The hands face and movement are all original. The movement has been cleaned and serviced and the case polished and lightly restored ready for another 200+ years. A super clock with a crisp on the hour strike in excellent retail condition ready for your home. Dimensions are approx 88 inches high 20 inches wide.
