Striking Gorge Case Carriage Clock

Description

A good quality gilded gorge case carriage clock. It has a traditional grooved case with a large bevel edge glass top window. It has a white enamel dial signed by the original retailer Whitehead & Sons, Seven Oaks. It has an 8 day movement that strikes the hours and halves on a gong and has a silvered lever platform. (France, c. 1870)

9.00cm wide 17.00cm high 8.00cm deep (3.54 inches wide 6.69 inches high 3.15 inches deep)

Current Condition

The case retains its original gilded finish, the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
