AN AUSTRIAN/GERMAN SMALL TIMEPIECE . A small cowtail pendulum fusee timepiece alarm. Nicely detailed mechanism pillars with chain fusee. The original verge mechanism. Spring driven alarm mechanism with an underslung bell and central setting disc. A pewter chapter ring with 5 minute outer markers. Circa 1740.
