Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The white 12" dial with black Roman numerals and nicely cut hands and with a spun brass bezel.

The clock is signed "S. CORBETT. COVENTRY", a well known and documented maker.
The clock strikes on a bell on the hour and has a beautiful rich tone.
It has just been fully overhauled and serviced by our BFI registered staff.
Double-fusee dropdial clocks are very few and far between and seldom come to market.
