Edwardian Oak Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A solid oak cased mantel clock, dating to the Edwardian period. It has an arched trefoil shaped case with turned side pillars. The convex white enamel dial has a convex, bevel edge glass. The 8 day hour and half hour striking movement sounds on a gong. It has a frosted glazed rear door. (England and France, c. 1905)

23.00cm wide 32.50cm high 13.00cm deep (9.06 inches wide 12.80 inches high 5.12 inches deep)

Provenance

The movement is made by Vincenti 1822-1910. These clocks had the cases made and movements fitted in England.

Current Condition

The case has been re-polished and wax finished, the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.

20% deposit will secure this item for up to three months
