Mahogany Westminster Chime Longcase Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A small, early 20th Century mahogany longcase clock. It has a traditional break arch hood, with turned side pillars, a bevel edge glazed trunk door and a raised fielded panel base. The polished steel dial has a mattted brass centre, brass corner spandrels and a Tempus Fugit(Latin-Time Flies)disc within the arch. The 8 day pendulum movement has Westminster(BigBen)chimes that sound the 1/4s on chime bars, driven by three brass cased weights. (England, c.1910-1920)

47.00cm wide 192.00cm high 30.00cm deep (18.50 inches wide 75.59 inches high 11.81 inches deep)

Current Condition

The case has been revived and wax polished, the brasswork has been polished and lacquered so it will not tarnish and the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.

20% deposit will secure this item for up to three months
