Georgian Mahogany Tray Top Pot Cupboard

Description

An elegant mahogany pot cupboard dating from the early 1800s. It stands on four turned tapering legs with a raised tray top gallery and cut out carrying handles. It has a single door with cross banded border and brass handle which opens to reveal a small storage cupboard with its original slatted floor.

It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy with a lovely patina. There are signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks and a couple of old repairs but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
