Antique French Walnut Pot Cupboard

Description

A Louis Philippe style pot cupboard dating from the late 19th Century. It has a small drawer above a cupboard door which opens to a shelved interior. It is a good quality piece made from beautifully figured walnut with a lovely rich colour and patina.

It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some signs of age and use, a few small marks and knocks and old shrinkage splits but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has suffered from woodworm in its life and there are numerous old holes on the inside and some in the back and sides but it has all been treated and it is strong and sturdy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
