Antique 0.80 Carat Unheated Sapphire & Diamond Ring, Circa 1910

Description

A spectacular Edwardian toi et moi ring, featuring a natural and unheated sapphire which show clear flashes of royal blue, opposite a white and bright old European cut diamond. The two principle stones are secured a sweeping 18k rose gold band, which is topped with silver at the shoulders and set with eight (four each side) chunky rose cut diamonds.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  Oval cut sapphire. The principle diamond is an old European cut, with rose cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Colour:  The diamonds range between G to H.

Clarity:  The sapphire is eye-clean. The diamonds are SI1.

Carat:  The sapphire is approximately 0.80 carat. The principle diamond is approximately 0.35 carat, with a further approximate 0.15 carat or rose cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Circa:  1910.

Size:  N (UK) or 6 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The ring is 9.4mm at the widest point and sits 4.25mm from the finger.

Weight:  2.31 grams.

Metal:  18k rose gold topped in silver. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
