Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this Edwardian Pink Sapphire Ring to the 1900s.
Ten rose cut diamonds border the centre stone, with ornate scrolling decorations at the top and bottom, each accented with an eight-cut diamond. The ring sits nice and low to the finger on a wide, D-shaped 18k gold shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire is natural, unheated, and originate from Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
Cut: Oval cut sapphire with eight-cut and rose cut diamonds.

Colour: The diamond range from H to J.
Clarity: The diamond range from VS2 to SI2.
Carat: The sapphire is 1.30. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.21 carat.
Condition: There is a "natural" at the base of the sapphire - an imperfection that looks like a chip, but is a natural birthmark in the stone.

Circa: 1905.
Size: L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Free sizing available.
Measurements: The sapphire is 8.1 x 6.3mm. The platinum head of the ring is 16.9 x 12.0mm and sits 3.9mm from the finger.
Weight: 3.93 grams.
