Description

A lovely vintage sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The bright, vivid blue sapphire in the centre is claw set in yellow gold and surrounded by eight old European cut diamond in a white gold coronet cluster setting. On a slim and tapering yellow gold shank. A classic Mid Century stunner.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  Round cut sapphire and old European cut diamonds.

Colour:  The diamonds range for I to K.

Clarity:  The sapphire is lightly included (eye-clean). The diamonds range from SI1 to I1.

Carat:  The sapphire is approximately 0.60 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.80 carat.

Circa:  1950.

Size:  L (UK) or 5 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The head of the ring is 10.9 x 10.6mm. Sits 7.8mm from the finger.

Weight:  3.10 grams.

Metal:  9k white and yellow gold. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
