Early 19th Cent Oak 8 Day Longcase Clock

Description

An impressive oak and mahogany longcase clock by Thomas Dodson of Beeston, Leeds. He is listed as working there from 1780-1828.

The golden oak case has decorative mahogany veneer decoration and it stands on its original agee bracket feet.

The good quality 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a very decorative painted dial.

The maximum dimensions are:

231cm(91") high

57cm(22.5") wide

25cm(10") deep
