A matched pair of Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware vases dating from the Art Nouveau period around 1910 displays a mottled blue and green glaze finish. Each ceramic vessel features a raised floral design with moulded flower heads and trailing leaves in tones of orange and pale green, complemented by an intricate light blue band decorated with small white dots beneath the flaring rim. The glazed surfaces exhibit high-gloss reflective properties and varied tonal gradations of turquoise, teal, and brown across the bulbous lower bodies and upright necks. Each vase stands 33 cm high on a circular foot and rises with a cylindrical neck that expands towards the bottom and flares slightly at the top rim. These decorative ceramic pieces suit display on mantelpieces, sideboards, or console tables in living rooms, dining areas, or entrance halls within a contemporary home setting.

Produced in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries at the Lambeth factory in London, Art Nouveau Royal Doulton stoneware features organic, stylised plant motifs, hand-applied slip tubelining, and rich mottled glazes.

These pieces were crafted from dense stoneware clay, decorated by hand using raised slip or tubelined patterns, and fired at high temperatures with salt or mottled enamel glazes.

Authentic examples feature impressed factory marks on the underside, such as the Royal Doulton circular stamp, alongside incised artist monograms and numeric pattern numbers.

These vessels can be arranged as a symmetrical pair on a mantelpiece or console table to add texture and historical contrast to modern interior schemes.

Wash by hand using lukewarm water and a mild detergent, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners, scouring pads, or submersion in hot water to preserve the glaze condition.
