Edwardian Antique Silver Vesta Case, Chester 1908

Description

A stunning antique Edwardian silver vesta case. Made in 1908 in Chester by the famous silversmiths Samson and Mordan. It has a beautifully enamel image of a Pekingese dog on the front. The hinge is tight and the lid snaps closed, there are a full set of hallmarks on the rim. Overall it is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. It has nothing engraved on the back and there is a striker underneath. A very collectable item.

Weight; 55 grams approx.
