A stunning rare English antique solid sterling silver and enamel vesta case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1906 with the maker being RC. It has been superbly designed being enamelled with a hand painted portrait. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The enamel is free from cracks and repairs. It has a strong mechanism and is gilded inside. It measures over 2 inches (5.3cm) tall by over 1.5 inches (4.1cm) wide and weighs 36 grams. A very high quality rare example.
