Delightful Victorian Opalescent Glass Cream Jug, Circa 1890

Description

This is a very pretty and unusual Victorian enamelled glass cream jug. Of tapered form, the slightly panelled glass body a lovely opalescent turquoise. The front enamelled with a spray of lily of the valley. The back with clear glass celery handle. The base with snapped pontil mark on the underside.

Dimensions:

Height:11cm / 4.2 inches.

Maximum diameter: 8cm / 3.2 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Gilt decorations a bit rubbed at places.
