Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Victorian pine furniture was widely produced during the nineteenth century, characterised by functional craftsmanship, warm timber tones, and utilitarian storage designs suitable for domestic settings.

These bookcases were crafted using solid pine with hand-cut joinery, tongue-and-groove planked backboards, and carved side notches or saw-tooth supports for height adjustment.

Look for hand-planed backboards, original saw-tooth shelf supports, natural timber shrinkage gaps, and aged patina around high-touch areas.

Contrast the warm natural wood tone with neutral minimalist backdrops, mixing literature with ceramics, framed artwork, and green trailing plants.

Keep the piece away from direct heat sources to prevent timber movement, dust regularly with a soft cloth, and apply a natural beeswax polish periodically to maintain the grain finish.
