The base has two frieze drawers above a pair of panelled cupboard doors opening to a shelved interior, with drop handles and a keyhole escutcheon.
The bookcase has a deep moulded cornice, reeded stiles to the upper and lower sections, and a moulded top to the base, and stands on a plinth.
The mahogany displays a lovely figured grain and a warm, rich colour with a deep, mellow patina built up over many years.
The bookcase comes apart in two sections, making delivery and access easier. Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable Victorian bookcase, a perfect addition to any study, library, dining room or hallway.

• Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.
• Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.
• If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Collection is available free of charge from our stockroom at WR6 5JE, by appointment only. Please contact us in advance to arrange a convenient collection date and time.
