Antique 20th century Edwardian linen press cupboard in walnut, a handsome and highly practical piece that combines elegant period styling with excellent storage.

Very well made and of good quality, this impressive linen press is beautifully proportioned and would make a wonderful addition to a bedroom, dressing room or hallway.

The upper section opens to reveal a beautifully fitted interior with four sliding shelves, providing an ideal space for neatly storing linens, bedding or clothing. Beneath are four drawers, arranged as two smaller drawers above two larger graduating drawers, each retaining its original decorative brass handles.

Raised on a sturdy plinth base, the cupboard has a substantial and well-balanced appearance, while its two-piece construction allows for easier transportation and installation.

The walnut displays gorgeous natural grain and a rich, warm colour throughout, giving the piece tremendous character and visual appeal. Its elegant proportions, quality construction and attractive original fittings make it a particularly desirable example of Edwardian furniture.
