Antique and Unique has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This beautifully proportioned cabinet was used as a bookcase in its previous home, where it had been for around fifty years, and I think that is its intended purpose, but it would also make a lovely display cabinet.

Both lead doors open using the key. The second doors are secured with internal bolts.
Please note that in most of the photos the cabinet is shown with the shelves in the upper section positioned to sit behind the glazing bars - there is an additional shelf but this means that the other two shelves have to be moved above and below the height of the glazing bars to make useable shelf spacings. This is shown in the last two photos.

The top detaches from the base for transportation - there are screws that fix the top to the base which are accessed on the inside of the top section.
Condition: This is in very good condition with minor surface wear in accordance with age and use, and is a really lovely piece of furniture. The only flaw to point out is the shelf adjustment pieces in the upper section - these are a later addition and have contemporary metal shelf support pegs. The shelves have been cut to fit around them.

Dimensions:
