This stunning late 19th C. Empire style cut crystal and gilt bronze centrepiece bowl features a distinctive twin swan next handles integrated into a wave patterned rim. The premium hand cut crystal is set within a gilt bronze mount, and is supported by a tripartite pedestal base decorated with three sculpted dolphins. This beautiful bowl would make an amazing accent piece for many different rooms in the home, in a wide range of styles and settings.

This Empire style centrepiece dates from 1880 and takes the form of a boat-shaped cut glass bowl made from clear crystal and gold gilt bronze. The piece includes swan-form handles, a wave patterned rim, and a pedestal base supported by sculpted dolphins. A beaded trim runs along the top edge of the mount, and the crystal body displays a series of diagonal swirl cuts. Measuring 34 cm high, 56.5 cm wide, and 22 cm deep, the bowl sits well on a dining table centre or a side cabinet. It functions as an accent piece in a French chateau interior or any traditional room setting.
