A Large 18th Century Dutch Leather Studded, Dome Top Trunk, 112cm Carry Handles.

An impressive 18th century, Dutch leather storage trunk measuring 112cm with with original brass studded decoration, traditional dome top and forged iron carrying handles.

A handsome country house storage trunk retaining its original stretched leather over pine frame, secured and decorated with brass studs and presented in mostly very good original condition.

With original locks and ornate, conspicuous hand cut iron escutcheons, no key, please note that 1 iron strap is damaged and some leather fringe is detached whilst complete and an easy fix which we shall address and update photos once through the workshop. Otherwise in exactly the original condition you’d hope to find and showing an elegant timeworn patination to the leather.
