Description
A very fine large Victorian glass wine decanter dating to circa 1880.
It retains its original mushroom-cut stopper and features three applied facet-cut neck rings. The shoulders are decorated with elegant flute cutting, leading down to a broad field of large diamond cutting. The base is finished with a finely executed star cut.
Generously proportioned, the decanter will hold approximately one and a half bottles of wine, making it both a practical and impressive table piece.
