William Barr of Glasgow is listed in Whytes' 'Scottish Watch and Clockmakers' book as working from 1859. The 'Correct Greenwich Time' on the pendulum was seen on some Scottish regulators in the Victorian period as railways connected the U.K. as telegraphic time signals were established.
