A charming antique 18th century oak Bible box of traditional rectangular form, constructed in oak and retaining a rich, untouched colour and patina developed over centuries of use. The hinged plank top opens to reveal a spacious interior. To the front, the box retains its original iron lock plate and clasp. The front is also carved with the initials ''T I''.
