Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Card Case / Aide Memoire 1876

Description

This is a super antique Victorian sterling silver calling card case/aide memoire hallmarked for Birmingham 1876 with the silversmiths mark for Colen Hewer Cheshire

It measures 3 3/4" (9 cms) x 2 3/4" (7 cms) and has a lovely decoration with no monograms or inscriptions on either side.

Inside there are pages with the days titled with the days of the week - one page has a small split which you can see in the photos - and there is a pencil which is has some dents around the end.

The case itself is in super condition and will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity
