Description

A richly decorative late‑19th‑century Chinese cabinet, all in original untouched condition, crafted in hardwood and finished in deep red lacquer with gilt highlights. The upper doors are beautifully carved with floral motifs and inset with hand‑painted panels depicting traditional figures and landscape scenes—each panel showing the delicate brushwork and storytelling typical of Qing‑era decorative arts.

Below, a series of smaller drawers and lower doors continue the theme with carved borders and painted floral ornamentation, all retaining their original colour, charm, and gentle age-softened patina. The cabinet’s proportions, layered decoration, and tactile carving make it a striking statement piece, equally suited to a refined interior, collector’s setting, or design-led space.
