A lovely size to make a decent coffee table with a massive amount of storage, this piece was originally painted wood effect which has beautifully worn off in places to reveal a lovely patina commensurate with plenty of use. Going by the well-preserved labels it�s certainly done it�s fair share of travel � Melbourne for starters! We have cleaned it both inside and out, preserving its story, leaving a lovely warm colour that�s been waxed to enhance it�s age. Unusually for this type of trunk it has big chunky brass corners � which are quite sharp and therefore probably not small child friendly!It�s original lock works well, covered by a neat small brass escutcheon and the key, as you can see, is there too.It�s an old piece which has seen some life so it does have marks, dents and scrapes, which you�d expect from something that�s been around a bit but it�s lovely, a useful-size and in superb condition, ready for use.Dimensions:Height: 740mm Width: 965mmsDepth: 7...
