CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear including age-related marks, knocks and scratches consistent with use. The interior shows expected wear, with the drawers functioning as intended. There is evidence of historic woodworm, particularly to the plinth base but this has long gone and has been treated as a precaution. The trunk remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a good, practical example with a pleasing light finish.
