Rare Set Of Three Georgian Irish Cut Glass Salts With Fitted Saucers C1820

Description
 
A rare set of three cut-glass salts with their original fitted saucers, produced in Ireland around c1820. In the later Georgian ball-bodied form, exhibiting a split-cut flanged rim and diamond faceted body. Each matching split-cut saucer fits neatly to only its own original salt bowl; polished pontils to each piece.

Ireland, c1820. Period of King George IV.
 
Condition
 
Excellent, one salt bowl has a 2mm sliver on the underside of the footrim.
