High quality unusual English Victorian antique solid sterling silver asparagus tongs. They are hallmarked for Sheffield 1898 with the maker being Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall). They are highly sprung and in good working order. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 3.75 inches (9.6cm) long by 1.5 inch (3.8cm) wide and they weigh 26 grams. Super quality examples.
