A very unusual and rare example of a 19th-century Roemer wine glass.
 
It has a light amber cup bowl with small applied amethyst prunts on a coiled, light amethyst foot.
 
From a long-term private collection, we can''t recall seeing another example like this.

England, c1830
 
Condition
 
Excellent, no cracks or restoration. There is a very small piece of the foot trailing missing just below the bowl, which can be seen in the main picture. It''s very minor.
