Crafted from solid oak with a deep, warm patina, the cupboard follows the classic two-tier court-cupboard form. The upper section is framed by turned front columns and carved panels, with a small central cupboard door that opens to reveal two neatly fitted drawers. These drawers, with their contrasting lighter fronts and original brass ring pulls, lift out to uncover the secret compartment below. The lower section features two finely carved doors that open to reveal four additional drawers.
