A Rare Edwardian Sampson Morden Small Silver Magnifying Glass

A fine example of usable silver, dating from the elegant Edwardian period and made by the great Sampson Morden & Co. This is a lovely magnifying glass, with a silver frame and handle. While many antique magnifying glasses have replacement lenses and frames, this good example has a shaped handle and a small band of engraved floral pattern. A lovely pocket piece, both a practical and decorative item. Dimensions below.
